Dear Fall,
Just a quick note to let you know how much I love seeing you this time of year. Last year I really missed you. This year, you did an especially spectacular job here in South Bend. The trees on campus were a perfect symphony of color. It was as though they had been wholly uprooted, dipped in a fresh can of autumn brilliance, and replaced, solely for my enjoyment.
And for that, I thank you.
I can't wait to see where we will meet next year.
